Sonja & Tony (Family)
Jack had a wonderfully long life and was a very gentle person.
We will always remember him for his dry sense of humour and good company at family gatherings.
With fond, happy memories from Sonja & Tony

Jack was one of life's good guys. He rarely, if ever had a bad word to say about anyone even, on occasion, with just cause. Jack asked you about you, he put others first, offered wisdom yet carried a great sense of humor in his back pocket. He was justly rewarded with a great innings; may the peaceful man, rest in peace too.
Molly Timmermans (Family)
A very dear brother amd lifelong friend. We have shared many of lifes ups and downs together, particularly during the second world war. As children we went to school together and Jack introduced me to my furture husband through their mutual interest in sport. Our families lived in harmony, living only one road apart. I am sure we will all meet again in happier circumstances!

Every week for the last few years, Dad attended a group organised by MIND which helped him deal with the Alzheimer's disease that he suffered since he turned 90. The group helped keep his mind stimulated and provided great social interaction for him.

Please do confirm whether or not you/your family can come by emailing me at as soon as you can.

We met dear Jack when our close friend Jacqueline first went to work for him and when they subsequently married. We remember him fondly as a kind, considerate and caring man. Jacqueline had been through difficult times and it was wonderful to see the way in which Jack treated her the utmost consideration and love he showed towards her. We will miss him.

Patricia Taylor (Family)
My Happiest memories of Jack go back a very long way - my Husband Bob (Jack's Brother)
and I used to go out with Jack and his Wife Rene to a lovely old Pub, The Castle at Chiddingstone
where they made the most wonderful roast beef sandwiches - Great washed down with a beer!
Sadly Rene died so young and was separated from her beloved children, Moira and Paul.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Love from Aunty Pat
